REQUEST FOR SCRUBS:
Westbourne Rotary are trying to gather cotton and poly cotton items, sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases to make into scrub outfits for the NHS.
We have a arranged a drop off location at St.Mark's school (in agreement with the headteacher). These will then be taken to 2 factories that are making up the materials, they just need more to work with.

for us all...
Mothering Sunday // Kids Activity Craft Packs // Postcard Pals
MOTHERING SUNDAY: Church Families, whilst adhering to social distancing regs, made posies of daffodils and cards for Mothering Sunday which they delivered to the doorsteps of people within our community.
KIDS ACTIVITY CRAFT PACKS: To entertain children whist the schools are closed, we are making up craft packs to keep some of the little people in our community busy (and to give their parents a rest). This has only been made possible because of the generosity of members of our church family as well as Hobby Craft, who donated a trolley load of crafts, and Tesco, at Tower Park, who gave us a big bag of goodies. Our prayer is to reach as many families as we can, in our community, with the light and love of Jesus through these packs.
You can still donate to this project. Please contact
alex via e-mail: email@example.com
POSTCARD PALS FOR OUR ELDERLY FRIENDS: Through the links our Church Warden, Marion Marks, has made with Meyrick Rise Care Home, we are partnering with their Magic Moments Team to encourage our different children's groups - FUSION Youth, Kidszone and Toddlers - to send messages, letters, postcards and drawings to the home which will be shared with all the residents. This will help our friends who live there and have started to feel isolated during this coronavirus situation. It will keep them connected and hopefully bring some cheer.
A BIG Thank You to all of you who have got involved with these different projects. We are really grateful to you all and these efforts could not have been made possible without your help. Blessings to you all for your kindness.
Praying on in God's strength...
