We now have Sunday Worship every Sunday at 10.30am.
We have received extensive guidance on how to open safely and the emphasis is on safety. To begin with we won't have Communion until we can gauge how the building will work with these new guidelines. Social distancing will have to be maintained. The service will be for all-ages and so children are, of course, very welcome.
We look forward to giving you a very warm welcome! If you are considering coming along, it would very much help the planning if you let us know. Please email Mandy (email@example.com) or ring 01202 529349 (Mon to Friday, 9am-12.30pm).
If you are not able to make the service or are still shielding the service will be posted up by 1.30pm.
WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN THE CHURCH BUILDING ON A LIMITED BASIS FOR PERSONAL PRIVATE PRAYER.
Because the Church building is now open for Sunday worship, we will be open on Wednesdays from 11am to 12pm for private prayer. This limitation is due to the cleaning regime we are obliged to carry out. Hopefully, as the restrictions ease further, we will be able to extend the times of opening.
Our Kid's Church have been learning about what Church is. One of the main lessons has been that WE are the Church, not the building. Having said that, we do love our buildings that we meet in. And there has been a drawing competition about our building. Here are the winning entries!
Happy Birthday Joy!
A much loved and long standing member of St Mark's Church, Joy Mills, celebrated her 100th birthday on Monday June 15th! We sent her some flowers from us all and here are some photos of her celebration. Congratulations Joy! Click here for the photos.
Church Family Life Continues During Lockdown...
Residents at Meyrick Rise Care Home have loved receiving letters, cards and drawings from the younger members of our Church family and links through our Children's, Youth and Families Ministry.
Staff have made a picture board of some of the children's creations so that they can enjoy them as they walk through their home.
With special thanks to the children and their families from Toddlers, Sunday School,
FUSION Youth Group and St. Mark's Primary School who have got involved with this project and brought a sprinkling of joy to some of our elderly friends within the community during this difficult season.

KIDS' CRAFT ACTIVITY PACKS:
Thanks to some of you and your generosity we have been able to bless families within the community with incredible Kids' Craft Activity Packs, to help entertain children at home whilst schools remain closed.
The first of these bags have gone out... more to go out soon.
(Thank you to James Waddington who helped deliver these)
Packs have included all sorts: scratch art, rainbow mosaic magnets, bird houses, lantern craft kits, garden seeds, books, toys, games, puzzles, beads, colouring pens and crayons, craft paper and craft materials.
It has brought some BIG smiles to children's faces (and their parents) as they have waved from kitchen windows or doorsteps upon delivery.
